SoundSpot: Living Strings

Built / mixed in the autumn of 2007, "Living Strings" still goes as one of my favorite albums. I hardly listen to DJ mixes, as their main dissadvantage is that they require a certain skilled audience. Still, this album managed to impressed me due to the way it was made and, most of all, due to its actual content.

These so-called album-mixes are generally made by DJ-producers which will put together a range of tracks (their or others) to create a tighter, more unique package than one of a regular album. The tracks are remixed or re-edited, then put together to generate a good kind of coherence.

It was made by a close friend of mine and it received very good feedback from all types of people, ranging from youngsters to matures, from rocker-addicts to techno-lovers.

The album itself - a listener-friendly, memorable sequence of well chosen great tracks, repeatable such as the beauty that never fades.

Author's words: "Long lasting easy to handle uplifting user friendly shape, content and emotions."
